What to do for Valentine’s Day in Knoxville

It’s almost here….. Valentine’s Day! What are your plans with your significant other? It doesn’t have to be a hard choice — just spend time together doing something fun.

Do you live in the Knoxville area? If so, this is just the post you need to read. Below I’m going to talk about five romantic and fun things to do for Valentine’s Day in Knoxville.

Dinner at Osteria Stella in Knoxville, Tennessee

1. Book Massages and then Dinner

In my opinion this is the most romantic out of things to do for Valentine’s Day in Knoxville. There are a lot of places to get massages in Knox, but Longevity is my favorite. They do an amazing job and when you’re done they take you to a private bathroom. It is a full bathroom with a shower and you can stay in there as long as you’d like to get ready.

So, book a couples massage with them and pack a bag for you and your sweetie to get ready after the massage. After you’re ready head out to dinner! There are so many dinner options in Knox. You can head downtown or find somewhere on Kingston Pike. Or, even better, have dinner reservations waiting for you. Read on to number two for some romantic dinner suggestions.

2. Romantic Dinner Reservations

A list of what to do for Valentine’s Day in Knoxville wouldn’t be complete without romantic dinner suggestions. There are so many restaurants in Knox it can be hard to choose. Some really good options that require reservations are:

Northshore Brasserie is very close to Longevity if you’re doing massages there.

Downtown: Osteria Stella, Oliver Royale, JC Holdaway, Koyo, The Melting Pot, Adopo, Emilia, Lonesome Dove

West Knox: Connors Steakhouse, Flemings Steakhouse

Chesapeake’s has locations in both downtown and west Knox.

Ancient Lore Village

They are having a reoccurring Valentine’s Day dinner throughout February. Check their calendar for exact dates and be sure to make reservations for it. They have a special menu planned and there is a cash bar available.

Gates open at 5:30pm and the event ends at 8pm. The ambiance is very romantic and dressy-casual attire is suggested.

Osteria Stella in downtown knoxville is amazing! 🤤 I recommend looking up the menu online before you go and Google Image searching everything. Just so you can see what everything on the menu looks like. But, our waitress was amazing! She explained everything on the menu and gave us great recommendations for food and wine. It’s a great choice for date night or if you’re celebrating something! #foodie #datenight #knoxville #finedining #yummy #travelblogger

3. Painting with a Twist

They have two locations in Knoxville and the paintings aren’t always the same at both of them. So, check both locations to see which you’d rather go to. They have a lot of Valentine’s Day themed paintings. Some of them are perfect for a date night because you both paint half of a whole painting. Meaning when you put both canvases together it makes one big painting.

Most of them are canvas paintings, but sometimes you have the option of choosing a wood plank board instead of a canvas.

4. Take a River Cruise

There are two river cruises that are having Valentine’s Day events: Volunteer Princess and Tennessee Riverboat. They both leave from downtown Knoxville and cruise you around Knox. The Valentine’s Day events on both of them lasts for two hours.

The Volunteer Princess offers dinner and brunch Valentine’s cruises. The dinner ones come with a pre-planned four-course meal at a private table with a rose. The brunch ones come with a pre-planned brunch buffet full of all kinds of food and you get a private table with a rose.

The Tennessee Riverboat offers lunch and dinner Valentine’s cruises. Both of them come with a pre-planned buffet full of food.

5. Take a Cooking Class

The Cutting Edge Classroom in Knoxville offers all kinds of fun cooking classes. Starting on Feb 8th and going through Feb 14th they are doing Valentine’s Day Date Night classes.

The ones they’re having are an evening in New Orleans, date night in Tuscany, date night in Paris, and American Steakhouse Surf and Turf. Remember, you get to eat everything you make and there is complimentary homemade truffles and a champagne toast.

Another fun Valentine’s Day class they’re having is Valentines Macarons. This one isn’t considered a “date night” class, but it’s still a lot of fun and you get to take home your own box of macarons.

Charcuterie Boards for Two

Chicken Librarian is hosting a charcuterie board event at Hi-Wire Brewing in downtown knox. During the event they teach you how to make a charcuterie board, then you get to enjoy it! You will also learn the best way to melt chocolate for dipping.
