Apartment / Condo in Helen, Georgia
My family and I really liked this apartment in Helen, Georgia. It was in the middle of downtown and close to everything!
I recommend this place to anyone coming to the area. The hotels were very expensive when I was here and this place was significantly less.

The Apartment
My family and I wanted a place that was not going to break the bank, be close to everything, and have a homey feel. We got all of those with this apartment!
The apartment is part of a complex called Alpine Village Condos. There are four condos total in the complex. If you have enough people you can book all four of them and receive 20% off. Otherwise, just book what you need. We stayed in Condo “A” and, in my opinion, it’s the best one.
Condo A is the only one you can get to directly from the parking lot. For the other ones you must go through a gate and the gate code is different from the code to get into your apartment. For condo A there are parking spots directly in front of it. Walk up a couple of steps and you’re at the front door.
Location
The apartment is in downtown, however, it is not in the middle of downtown. There are plenty of places you can walk to from the apartment, including the Hansel and Gretel Candy Kitchen.
Essentially the apartment is at one end of the downtown area. If you want to explore the other end of the downtown area you will have to drive. For us, this wasn’t a problem. There are lots of parking areas and they weren’t hard to get in and out of.

I had such a fun time exploring the Bavarian town. From hiking to German food to a gourd museum, there are a lot of interesting things to see in the area. I do want to visit again and I liked this apartment so much that I want to stay in it again.
