How did I Find this House?
My family and I wanted an entire beachfront house to ourselves with our own private pool. The search was on!
This house is not necessarily beachfront, you can’t see the beach while sitting on the decks. But, it does have direct access to the beach. You don’t have to cross a road or anything to get to it, the walkway is literally steps away and is right down from the front of the house. The house also has its own heated pool. So, it was exactly what we wanted!
The House Itself
There are two separate condos here: the upstairs and downstairs. You can rent them separately or together. My family and I had enough people going that we rented both. Because they do rent them separately at times, you can’t get from the downstairs to upstairs on the inside. You must use the outdoor stairs to move between the two.
The two units are set up exactly the same. They both have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and kitchens. The kitchens were stocked with dishes, spices, and more
Amenities
We had our own private pool, which was a huge perk for us. It’s heated so if you stay here during the cooler months, you’re still able to take full advantage of the pool. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach or pool.
They even had toys outside for the pool that you have access to.
Location
This house is right on the beach. It’s not considered beachfront, but it is the next best thing. It’s close to the pier, restaurants, an ice cream shop, and more. Downtown St. Augustine is only a short drive away. It is in the perfect location for a beach trip with some days spent in downtown.
